Good-bye Neal

On Saturday, the Madison Forum honored one of their own. Neal White passed on May 26,  after 79 years of a very full life. Known as “The Godfather“, Neal was a inspiration to so many. He was a man of honor, a man of conviction, and a true friend to all.

Last week, Republicans gathered for one last time before the race for the GOP presidential nomination goes into full swing. Georgia Republicans met in Athens, Ga., to elect their chairman and officers. World markets took a hit today with Moody’s downgrade of Spain’s credit rating. This cut followed similar cuts of Greece (on Monday “to B1 from Ba1 with a negative outlook”) and Turkey(last May). The “negative outlook” comment means “we think it will go down more”.
