The Time has come-

By
Paul L. Nally

Not To ask what price our Liberty, but what price inattention to it.

Mrs. Katharine Johnston’s death should never have happened. Then the Habersham child and now David Hooks.

As a former Police Chief and Judge, I have found it useful to look to the past for guidance and understanding. In 1604 Lord Coke ruled that (paraphrasing) a man’s home is his castle, and if the … Read more...

PENDING TRADE ACTIONS TPA/TAA/TPP CLARIFICATIONS, BACKGROUND, DISCUSSION AND MY THOUGHTS

by Larry Laibson

The general public is significantly confused on the complex “alphabet soup” trade proposals being talked about in Congress and the Media. Something as important as this 11 Nation deal that encompasses a broad spectrum of areas, including but not limited to “Trade, should be transparent at least on its overall scope and general objectives.  The absence of this transparency, especially with the many time spoken goals of … Read more...

By
Paul Nally

The Great Charter of Liberties, commonly referenced simply as “Magna Carta” or, in the vernacular, “the Great Charter”, the founding document of all Common Law countries, celebrates its 800th birthday June 15th.

This document was hoped to bring peace between the King and his subjects in the time of King John. As was the usual reason for dissent, John, who had lost his ancestral lands in France … Read more...

By
Larry Laibson

There is confusion of what these entail and what is actually being voted on in Congress.  Are there Constitutional issues regarding “Powers” and responsibilities?  Is TPP really a Treaty? What does it cover and why is there such extensive secrecy?  Will America’ Sovereignty be affected?

By
Larry Laibson

There have been many questions and articles regarding the voting characteristic of some groups that have generally been consistently “liberal” and “Democratic: i.e. Jews, Blacks and Hispanics.
I continually get questions from friends on how Jews in such large majorities support Democrats over the years especially Obama. Responses can vary and from the ’30,000 foot level” books like Norman Podhoretz’s “Why Are Jews Liberal” (a hard read) … Read more...

The Republicans’ Big Week: So What’s Next?

By
Randy Evans

Last week, Republicans gathered for one last time before the race for the GOP presidential nomination goes into full swing. Georgia Republicans met in Athens, Ga., to elect their chairman and officers. National Republicans met in Scottsdale, Ariz., for the Republican National Committee meeting.  Not surprisingly, presidential candidates were in abundance at both gatherings.

In Georgia, delegates to the 2015 Georgia Republican Convention gathered at the Classic … Read more...

State Loses Great Leaders Eva Galambos, Harry Geisinger

By
Randy Evans

During the course of two weeks, Georgia lost two great Americans. Each contributed in their own way to transforming Georgia from the politics of the past to the foundations for the future.

The first mayor of Sandy Springs, Eva Galambos, died on April 19 at age 87. Like Newt Gingrich and his drive to become the first Republican speaker in over four decades, Mayor Galambos had a … Read more...

Not Iowa, but Cleveland as the First GOP Primary

Randy Evans

Officially, the first contest for the 2016 presidential campaign will be the Iowa caucuses currently scheduled for February 2016 to be followed by New Hampshire, Nevada, and South Carolina.  Yet for Republicans, the reality of the 2016 nomination process is that the first contest will actually occur in early August 2015.

In August 2015, FOX will host the first RNC-sanctioned debate in Cleveland, Ohio. It will be … Read more...
